Solid Bitumen Melter
As road construction increases the demand for bitumen, block bitumen is widely used because it is convenient to transport and store. The bitumen melter is designed to melt block or bagged bitumen efficiently while reducing the risk of bitumen aging during heating.
The KR16A bitumen melter uses thermal oil as the heat-transfer medium. Heating coils and exhaust heat from the thermal oil heater are used to heat, melt, and dewater the bitumen. The bitumen melter helps maintain stable heating quality while improving melting efficiency, reducing manual handling, and supporting cleaner operation. The system mainly consists of a melting chamber, trolley, thermal oil heater, and electrical control system.

- Enclosed structure
The enclosed design supports cleaner bitumen melting operation. - Internal and external slag cleaning
The bitumen melter supports internal automatic slag discharge and external slag cleaning to help maintain cleaner material flow. - Removable lower thermal oil heating section
The lower heating section is equipped with slide rails for easier removal, cleaning, and maintenance. - Finned tube heating with exhaust heat assistance
Finned tubes on both sides use exhaust heat from the thermal oil heater for auxiliary heating, helping improve heat utilization. - Automatic control system
The bitumen melter is equipped with an automatic control system and an imported automatic ignition burner. Operation can be controlled based on oil temperature and monitored through the relevant instruments. - Containerized structure
The containerized structure makes relocation, assembly, and site operation more convenient.
